Evangelical Free Church of Walnut

The Evangelical Free Church of Walnut (EFCW) began in September 1984 when Pastor Pak Fai Chan, together with a group of believers, decided to plant a church in the East San Gabriel Valley. Since its inception, the vision of EFCW was to reach and nurture people in Christ. We were best able to reach and nurture the booming Chinese population in this area because of our ethnic background.

Over time, God has brought new brothers and sisters that are not of Chinese ancestry. Our leaders responded by enlarging our ministry to reach people of all backgrounds.

We look forward to God’s will working within and through us to grow into a church that pleases Him, and we pray that He empowers us to reach the surrounding area with the Gospel of Christ.
